James "Bubba" Stewart arrested

Just found out about this and I really don't know what to say, other than... well, I suppose this is one way to ruin your career:

Two-time AMA Supercross champion James Stewart Jr. was arrested on charges of impersonating a police officer Monday near his home in central Florida.

Is he trying to become the Lindsay Lohan of motorsports?

Bit of dumb fun that backfired - hand out some free tickets and he will be ok...

Anyone seen Bubba's world? Seems he has had a very strict upbringing & he missed out on doing the normal things during his younger years as everything was just focused on becoming the best MX rider in the world...

Remind anyone of a black golfer? Or a rather talantred black then white musician?

It's a glimpse into the very American world of aggressive, pushy parents living their dreams out in their kids.

James obviously has to be punishd and takes the blame, but it does look very odd!

Actually quite easy.
For years I have wondered why a sliding scale isn't used in all court cases.
If it was me that had committed this "crime" (probably a prank that he just happened to get caught doing) then it would hurt me a dammed sight more than someone with a money tree !

Right, so if he is worth $20 million & you fine him $10 million does that really hurt?

Not an avid Supercross guy and I didn't see a Supercross thread, but I'm watching the race from Dallas on CBS right now and I can't remember the last time I saw James Stewart drive a clean race where he didn't go down.

Mid-race they were racing for 2nd with Reed in the spot. They were going into a hairpin off a jump and Reed was running a tight line. Stewart lost control of his bike and was trying to save it and rammed right into Reed with Reed going off the track (Reed kind of "broke Stewart's fall" even though Stewart still went down). Stewart got up again in 5th or 6th and finished 4th. Reed was further back.
