Silverstone Help Required 25/26 June 2011

Hello Folks,

This is primarily aimed at people who know me but I need an Assistant/helper to travel to Silverstone this weekend for MG Live..I’m competing in the sprint on the Stowe Circuit (Sunday but scrutineering/sign-on Sat evening) My usual team are at weddings, working or double booked!.....the full G.P. circuit is also being used for all of the races over the weekend so there is lots to see and do.

There isn’t really a lot to do but it is a two-man job to guide the car on/off the transporter (has a custom built hydraulic car lift) + general help changing wheels, refuelling etc.

My Mercedes transporter/motor home is fully air-conditioned and sleeps 5, walk-in shower/bathroom with twin bunks in the cab if you don’t want to share the main accommodation area!

All you will need is a sleeping bag, overnight bag etc. All food, drinks etc supplied...even has digital TV etc.

If you fancy a free trip to MG Live/Silverstone then please get in touch. Will be leaving Aintree area around Mid-day Saturday arriving Silverstone Mid-afternoon returning late Sunday afternoon for arrival mid-evening.

with apologies my first thought was a John McEnroe moment:
'you cannot be serious'
(given that I did Luffield sprints for a few years at the back end of the last century - simply drove the car to and from the events)
