Kristof, you are not alone. I am going to Hawaii for 2 weeks on Friday, so I will not see a computer for the next 2 weeks. J-B&Q, good luck!!

P.S. what track is the race being held at, the Fosters, International, or Island track??

Is that nerves or nervous anticipation? Just how many fags do you get through just before a race? Do you have a ritual to go through before getting in the car?

So how's the cars now John - all fit and raring to go.

Dunno about John, but I was so nervous at Mallory on the warm-up lap, I would have taken up smoking right there and then!

Good luck for Oulton, Mr.B&Q! Hopefully we'll be there to cheer you on Good luck with getting the engines sorted.

Hello Chris Y, How did it go at Mallory, I really love that track.

Les, Yes I have a ritual, it goes something like, 3 hours before the race: Panic, Have pee, smoke fag. 2 Hours before race: Really Panic, Pee smoke two fags in rapid succession. One hour before race: Have total nervous collapse, am revived by fag, too nervous to go to the loo.On grid: realise I'm scared to death and cannot now go to loo until end of race, made worse by the fact I cannot light fag while wearing helmet. After race: go back to hospitality and speak to guests explaining airily that I never get nervous, don't smoke and live a thoroughly blameless existance.

Hello Chris Y, How did it go at Mallory, I really love that track.

Did well in qualifying - got up to 7th, which is my best yet, but in the race the distributor cap melted! Still - the atmosphere was brilliant and we had a cracking time

DON'T FORGET BRONTY, STEG AND REX! I'VE MISSED THEM HEAPS!

They'll be there

Good luck for Oulton, John Hope everyone enjoys the weekend. I had planned to drag my boss along, but he's decided that Man United are more important, so looks like I'll have to give Oulton a miss

Nah, it's too expensive if I'm going on my own. In any case, the excitement levels might get too high instead - might even wash the car

Carrie, you could have come round and cleaned my car for me today! I was supposed to but a massive hangover got in the way! Mum cooks a mean roast. You would have been rewarded!

I washed my car, I washed my car After all the complaints I've been getting at work about the state of my car, I'm sure they'll all be ever so proud of me Hold on, they're not going to see it for over a week, by which time I'm sure the little green Corsa will be back to its usual mud colour Who invented race circuits anyway, I should have a nice combination of Donington Gravel and Silverstone mud by this time next week, with a bit of Rockingham gravel added in for good measure!
Lorn, have we got off topic here??

My car was very clean this morning. Then Dan makes me take it off road through the woods at Brands and all of a sudden it looks like a WRC car... grrr!

Oooops... sorry, did someone mention B&Q and Oulton ??

Well, we've just had a new B&Q store opened in Bolton.
Oulton, that circuit in Cheshire? All I can say is bloody annoying Octagon website I seemed to spend ages going round in circles on it earlier this evening. And why do I always want to spell Octagon as Octogan!!!
Was that the topic
