BTCC Driver Questions

As i'm off to Donington on September 22/23rd to do some interviews for my website, I felt it would be a good idea if you could help by sending questions on this thread to certain drivers in the BTCC you have to state which one and i'll give you his/her answers as soon as I get back from Donington Park, any question you want providing its not rude and remember if you see a middle-sized kid doing interviews with drivers, THAT'S ME (These interviews will also go onto the website)

So fire away

I'll start the ball rolling

to YVAN MULLER- I belive you drive an Astra in the ice-racing championship, which one do you prefer driving the Astra on ice or driving an Astra on a racetrack?

to Phil Bennett- What did you think of Andy Priaulx's performance at Oulton? Do you think he'll get a drive if Vauxhall/Egg were to run another car?

to Steve Soper-

What do you think are your chances for winning a race this year, especially after your performance at Oulton?

What was your favorite BMW to drive in the btcc?

How do you feel about your incident with John Cleland in 1992?

What do you consider to be your best ever race?

How did you do those, as Murray Walker put it in 1992, "This is another superlative Steve Soper charge to the front!"?

to Tim Harvey-
Will you race next season? If so, what are your chances for success?

What was your favorite car to drive in the btcc?

More to come next time i'm on.

Without wishing to wear out my trumpet...you can find answers to most of the Soper questions in Parc Ferme.

Ask Joanna about her coconuts...that'll go down well.

To Tommy Erdos-

Do you realistically see yourself being able to mount a championship challenge next year, considering your excellent progress so far in 2001? Even without official backing, your pace has been stunning, so what are your hopes for 2002?

Jimmy T,

What's the best BTCC car you've driven out of the the 2000 Honda Accord or this year's car?

Greg.
