Peugeot 307

At last it seems Peugeot are going to see sense and run the 307 next year instead of that stupid hairdressers car which has been **** all season. Anyone who moans on about it not having a boot should get a life. The 307 will eat those astras for breakfast.

Fair do to peugeot, the 406 was the best car avalible at the time. The 307 wasn't ready and they have done a reasonable job with a car that is really too big!

Damn another van, this is a Touring Car Championship. I will make a guess and say the Pugs will go no better next year in the 307 than they would in the 406. Hopefully the 406s will be sold. Is this official.

The Alfas do look very nice, but the 307 is a truely horrible piece of machinery, it's nothing more than a rebadged Honda Civic

On Honda Civic's, didn't Tarquini test a Super Production spec Civic a few weeks ago, and it said in Autosport that it may be used as the basis for a BTC Tourer.

The JAS Honda Civic-R was used as one of the pace cars at Rockingham last weekend and was parked in the paddock at Donington on Sunday. Very nice it looked too. Very simliar to a Focus from some angles.

I would love to see Honda return, with a BTC spec Civic, Tarquini too. That would be great, but depends on the ETC situation.

I'm sure people wouldn't moan if the Civic/Tarquini combo was annouced for next years BTC, although I'm sure the BTV brigade would kick up a fuss.

BTW I suppose the BTV brigade haven't bothered entering the JSM comp to win the Alfa, which means more chance of a win for me

Didn't Honda UK (by Swindon Factory workers??) race a Honda Civic sedan a few years back in the NSC series? What happened to that car?

If things keep going the way they seem with Alfa, Pug, Vauxhall, maybe Honda Hatches, maybe it should change from the BTCC to the British Half-a-Car Championship.

ah, you're thinking of Synchro Motorsport, and they indeed are Honda UK employees. They did race a Civic in the NSC last year, but they now race a Honda Accord in the BTC Production class http://dialspace.dial.pipex.com/town.../allan%20honda(p).jpg

They are rumoured to have a new shape Civic in their workshop right now, but aren't letting on whether it's Touring or Production spec.

There only trading in the 406 for the 307 because it has sat nav so the drivers have half a chance of staying on the road and also 6 airbags for when they leave the road.....
