Biela, Borcheller steal championships!!
Frank Biela just won the PLM, and Borcheller finished 2nd GTS. Great race, I think the Radio Web guys did a great job,too.

Terry Borcheller won the championship in GTS due to (1) excellent driving, (2) not as many penalties as some guys, and (3) Ron Fellows being excluded due to his getting physical aid to repair his car from someone who came over the wall (which was clearly visible) and then saying he did all the work himself. I was nearly run down by his car as he pulled it off the grid (their crew pretended they didn't know they'd been excluded and had to be firmly instructed to get the hell out of Dodge.) (Or Chevrolet in this case
 )Pirro and Biela richly deserved their win, but poor Capello looked so very sad sitting in the Audi tent ... he never even got a chance to wreck, er, drive the car this time ... Also kudos to Boris Said and Hans Stuck and Bill Auberlin on their excellent win. And to Boris for his outspoken barbs at the Autosport representative, for his fearless opinions on Osama ("Yo Mama, Osama!") and for knocking Hans Stuck's hat off during the playing of the American National Anthem. |

The same. I have not yet transcribed the tapes of the press conf. but Boris (who takes no prisoners) said pointedly that he wanted his picture in Autosport "since Townsend Bell always gets his in Autosport when he wins." The guy at Autosport also made a point of saying that Jorg Muller et al. had "lucked into" the win as they were demonstrably not as good as the other BMW team. He got his head handed to him by Muller too.

That sounds about right - Autosport is the most biased piece of rubbish on the shop shelf! If they dont like a driver for whatever reason (usually someone at the mag is a friend of one of their rivals) they ignore that driver, no matter how good they are!
