Ralf - not only slower but thicker!
Re: Report on ITV-F1 site!
"BMW boss Gerhard Berger has told Ralf Schumacher that if he forces Williams to pick a number one driver it would be Juan Pablo Montoya. Schumacher warned Williams a fortnight ago (Hugh - I'm sure Williams were really put in their place!!) that their hopes of championship glory in 2002 could be compromised if he and Montoya are given equal treatment and allowed to fight amongst themselves. (Hugh - 'fight among themselves' - Ralf would have to get near him first ) But Berger has told the German that if they were forced to choose one driver to concentrate their efforts on, it would have to be Montoya on current form." I am not knocking Ralfie just for the sake of it, but hasn't he not got the intelligence to see he's second best? It's sheer pride and arrogance that means he refuses to face reality. As they say 'pride comes before a fall' - so watch out - here comes one mighty big 'nose dive' in 2002! |

Love your name Hugh. It reminds me of the Kenny Everett show many years ago where he had a character called Cupid Stunt.
Nice one... |

Ralf must calm down, or suffer the consequences... He'll be under even more pressure next year, especially if JPM starts to win races - because Michael will be determined to hang on to at least six points (at circuits where Williams/Michelin/JPM look too good) and that means the two brothers could be racing directly a bit more often. Possibly. Hope so anyway.
Williams also need much better reliablity for this reason - to take more points away from Schumacher at those circuits that favour the Michelin tyre. |

Ralf could always have a dire 2002, thus cheering all of us who wish someone less prone to sulking and spouting laughable rubbish ("Williams need team orders" Feeling insecure Ralf? I wonder why...) could have his seat.

Actually RG Gerhard Berger said today that if there were to be team orders at Williams, it would be Montoya who would be the No1 and not Ralph, sorry dear.
