Bathurst Safety Car Hypothetical
What would have happened when Fabian slowed down, the rest of field elected to drive around him and catch-up to the safety car?

If his car was genuinely disabled nothing. But remember teams can talk to race control and race control can talk to teams in Supercars it may be different

If the first car in the queue (Heimgartner's Nissan?) had blinked and gone past, then they all would have.
Now THAT would have been a fun argument....... |

Presumably CAMS would have been even more flush - a fine for every car which passed, in addition to the $150k levied against Car 12.

It's a good question, it will be interesting to see how the other teams react if someone tries that one again, although unlikely now given the uproar.
If it were me and the situation were identical, I'd just make a pass until I'm told to redress and hope like hell the rest of the field does the same! |

This, because for a car to slow that dramatically, it's either got a big problem or it's trying to hold everyone up for someone else's benefit - ie ch**t.
