OVERSTEER should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Villeneuve

It appears that Villeneuve is still unhappy at BAR, and although saying he is happy with the car he may still quit before the start of this season.
If that happens any ideas on what he can do this year? He hasn't got a hope of a return to CART this year as most of the seats are taken, maybe he would go to the IRL or something, other than that I see a year on the sidelines for Jacques, any more ideas???
But it could mean Darren Manning getting the drive or Frentzen which means one less contender for the Minardi seat (which Justin Wilson is thought to be fighting for!)

i reckon he should just get on with the job in hand instead of sulking. he had a chance to go to renault which he passed up cos he wanted to help bar evolve etc, i realise that his closest friend, craig pollock has been goonered, but life goes on, the are so many young drivers who would kill to be in that seat, and jv's walking round with a face like a wet weekend!!

A local radio station here reported on its sportscast that the latest rumour is Jacques and Jenson trading places, with the usual denials all around. Could not find anything about it on any web sites tho'

He'll be silly to quit before the season starts as he won't be able to find a drive anywhere, and I doubt he's on any team's short list at the moment.

However, IMO he won't leave until the end of the year. If the BAR develops well, he'll stick around to see progress.

Driving with a huge pay cut for Prost or Minardi is the only option he has this year... because i think he realised that he does not command the same value as he did just after winning the WDC when he said he would honour the contract for this year at BAR after the test.

Indeed, he ought to stop pulling faces, complaining or sulking off. Get down to his job and try to correct the problems...not just sitting in a corner wishing that the car would correct the problems by itself. The BAR seat is one of the better ones considering his other options (NO TOP TEAMS WANT HIM...so bear with it!) and what he is doing now isnt winning him fans.

Perhaps a move to Jag next year? Or to LeMans or some sports car races... at least he had a chance of impressing people there...
