Now that is a super competitive field!
I very much doubt that Alfa will dominate. I think the field will be pretty even. However, my tips are a Cayrolle victory in race one, followed by Rydell in race 2. |

Is that just super touring, or are production there aswell? Is it safe to assume that if it is a BMW it is production? (oh and the Nissans of course)

There is no SuperTouring this year, it's Super 2000 rules now. For some reason I was expecting some Super Production cars as well.

Technically yes. I meant proper SP class cars, not 'work in progress'

In this case we mean the same thing. Super Production is the international equivilent of the BTCC's Production class.

I've just noticed, I've become a veteran, does that mean I get a bus pass and cheap entry to attractions?

Hmm, good question. Haven't heard anything from HTML for ages.
No bus pass, but you do get to buy the next round. |

I thought that the ETCC's SP is higher than the UK's production class? SP allows more aero aids, engine development and individual parts? While the '02 BTCC uses quite a lot of common parts?
I haven't been able to keep up with all these "similar" names/rules since ST!! There's Super Production (SP), then Super2000, Production, Grp N, GrpN+,etc... Too many series!! |

I could always dump the races to MPEG - I'll get them live on our terrestial digital-tv network, which means they'll be entirely commercial-free as well
The obvious downside, however, is that they'll have Swedish commentary.. I've been toying with the idea to dump them anyway (to keep on CD instead of taking up space on a VHS tape), but if there's an interest I'd make them available on-line. I'll get the STCC and S60 Challenge Cup (neither of them live though) on TV as well. Last edited by rustyfan; 18 Apr 2002 at 11:41. |

It's not like SVT will be losing any money if someone not in Sweden gets to see the ETCC races, so I wouldn't loose sleep over it...
Besides, SVT gets my money annually anyway (being the state-owned - not state-controlled though, big difference there hehe - terrestial network) Last edited by rustyfan; 18 Apr 2002 at 18:26. |

BRING ON THE ONLINE RACES FOR DOWNLOAD!!! As a person who intens to download those races, I have to say I don't see a big problem with it. Why?
1) Rustyfan isn't selling those races (Pay per view!!) 2) It's not like 10M will go and download those files 3) Manufacturers should be glad we're watching those races cause with all those Volvos, BMWs, Alfas screaming across our computers, we may one day be brainwashed enough to actually go buy one of those cars!! Hee,hee, I just can't wait to watch those races!!! Last edited by kmchow; 18 Apr 2002 at 22:24. |

Nice to see there's an interest - let's just hope I don't screw it up then, eh?
Keep in mind, however, that, as said, the commentary will be in *swedish* Should be commercial-free though, and that's always a huge plus |
