Austrian Grand Prix - Alternate endings
For those trapped on Mars, the last 100m of the Austrian GP was disgusting, and Stephen Green mentioned something in another thread that made me think of this senario.
Rubins slows on the last corner, as per Ferrari orders, Michael moves up to pass. But wait. JV's BAR has cooked itself on the last lap, but stopped exactly where Panis did. Yellow flag comes out - Rubins Wins!!! (and if you really want to be nasty - Michael is busy on the radio, passes anyway, and gets black flagged) COOL So, whats your "alternate ending"? *please note - this is just for fun and not another thread for re-hashing the same old stuff * |

Erm, mine is that TGF guns it to pass and Rubens does the patented Swerve and Chop. Both cars go off the track and JPM and whoever the was behind him --- I have lost track, wasn't it DC and Fisi? -- go on to take the podium.
In Parc Ferme, Rubens says "I don't know what came over me" and means it. Eddie Jordan and Ron Dennis kiss him on both cheeks, and Rubens blushes redder than his overalls. Meanwhile, the other guy climbs out of the ruins of his car and trudges slowly back to the garage, kicking an empty pop can, totally ignored by the crowd ... |

Surprisingly, mine is if MSch pulls up alongside Rubens and then brakes just as they cross the line to allow Rubens to win by a wheel. The fans would have gone crazy with delight, MSch would have gained the respect of nearly everyone, and for once, I would be able to enjoy a race that MSch actually wins in the future.
Does anyone else share my thoughts on this one? Valve |

This might sound nasty but here it goes.... As Jean Toad gets near Ross Brawn to discuss Rubens giving way to MS, he slips badly and hits Ross Brawn's butt with a force of 3Gs, who falls down from his chair in the pitlane. Both men are concious but taken to the medical center to check for broken bones... meanwhile Rubens goes ahead and wins the race.

mine:
As Jean Toada slips the piece of paper to Ross Brawn, he spies the F1 Digital cameraman hovering over Brawn and snatches it back, suddenly, three men in black appear from the back of the Garage and escort the TV Crew out the back for a talking to. All this has delayed the message, and it's the last lap, Rubeneno Chello is rounding the last corner, 4 seconds ahead of Michael *Schummeln, Brawn gets on the radio and asks Rubeneno nicely to move over, he replied **** you ********, I'm gonna win this, so with that Brawn gives Toad the nod and Toad reaches for the red button marked "RB" andf presses it, with this, Rubeneno's engines goes bang. The result of the self detonation is not as expected, and is like Kimi Rakonen's engine blowup and covers the circuit with white smoke, Schummeln rounds the last corner to find this big wall of white smoke, doing a Cole Trickle (he'd been watching Days of Thunder Saturday night), he keeps his foot in a drives into Rubeneno's car, both are unhurt, and out on the spot. JPM rounds the last corner, and cruises past Schummeln and Rubeneno to take Victory, he gives Schummeln and indication of where he is finishing as he goes past much to the amusement of the Austrian crowd. Jean Toad and Ross Brawn start a fight in the pitlane over the debarkle, this is caught on camera by the ITV digital pitcrew, who were there fulfilling their contract, sadly, this film will never be aired because ITV Digital stopped transmitting last week (ish). The end. ----------------------------- Schummeln is Austrian for not playing fair, cheating, being dishonest etc. this is what Schumacher has been nicknamed in Austria now, I have a friend who lives over there, aside from the massive losses made on the race (a lot of people had bet on rubeno) they find it all very funny that F1 can be rigged like this. What happens?
Coming out of the final corner, Rubens brakes suddenly, TGF accelerates to pass, but misjudges and launches over the back of Rubens car. Both are out on the spot. JPM comes by to take victory. |

Wishful thinking u guys LOL.....!!!!
Sorry to be a spoilsport for this thread But here's my version, TGF leads the race right from the first lap overtaking Rubens with a chop right after the first turn and continues to dominate eventually taking the chequered flag to win the race and the crowd bursts into an electric celebration for the great TGF win in Austria. |

Get this right, the Ferraris are allowed to race (I know I'm crazy) and then Rubens is allowed to win the race.

schuey passes rubens to everyones consternation, taking all 10 points. an unforseen spate of engine blow-ups mid season means he only secures the wdc in suzuka by two points. and a lot of people have expended a lot of hot air for nothing.
or are you not supposed to mention things like this.. |

yeah kdr, and he wins a championship that will always be tainted by this incident.
my scenario is rubens is actually allowed to win, and we get to see TFG's miserable face on the podium, after he realises he has a teamate who is quicker |

calais, i'm not sure fiat will be too bothered by the tint.
matt bishop has written an interesting article in a***sport this week where he speculates that this could be schueys last year...which would make rubens case for pulling over to secure the big prize in 2003. or is schuey retiring and rubens becoming wdc2003 just too ridiculous an alternative ending?! |

Rubens is leading Mickey the Shoe by 4 secs. He comes up to lap Irve the Swurve on the last lap. Irve moves over and allows Rubenns through but when Mickey the Shoe tries to do the same thing, Irve closes the door, the two collide and both end up in the gravel trap, beached. Peotic justice?

But this is TGF we are talking about calais, no one would dare to just cancel his contract if he dosen't have anything to do with it in the first place. Anyway i had my strong reasons because i see him of wanting to break all records before retiring and the next one is Senna's.
P/S - Cool down calais....have a beer |

This was supposed to be funny, guys! Would you guys please stop coming in here and raining all over the proceedings?
I'm sure that you really do believe that shame and disgrace are things that no longer matter in the real world, but believe me, they do and even someone brought up in the ghetto among the worst kind of people knows that justice eventually does prevail. And before I go back to enjoying the spectacle of justice prevailing, may I add that even in prison there are some crimes that are considered beyond the pale. Do you want it said that you have less honour than the average criminal? Guess your mom would be proud to know you felt that way. Now go away and let us daydream. |

I got one:
Rubens and TGF clash at the final corner, and a massive pile-up ensues, but out of this - MARK WEBBER - evades it all to take his, and Minardi's, first grand prix win. Now THAT is daydreaming! |
