Out there rumour about Carpentier
on Champweb.net a claim has been made that Ganassi is courting Pat for his IRL ride. It also adds its unsubstantiated

Although it would appear that he's not the most popular person at Ganassi racing, Chip ought to send Brack to drive his car in IRL and put Patrick in his car in CART.

Apparently Mr. Brack is being sent to the showers by Target, as it is reported pretty widely in the pitlane that he has
 off most of the crew. It might make sense to hurl him into the Invisible League though as he was successful there.Patrique would do well at Target if Chip decides to keep running 3 cars, and he might also do well at NH, although I'd rather see Dario go there. |

With his recent run of form and success, Patrick may have a number of options to choose from in the coming months. My main hope is that he stays in CART.
