Gp3 2000
I've bought the games, installed GP3, I'm trying to install GP3 2000 in but now the computer doesn't even recognise my GP3 CD!!
Any ideas? |

Have you added any downloads before trying to add the new software?

Try completely deleting GP3 and re-installing it. If that doesn't work try going into GP3 (normal) once before you install GP3 2000. As far as I remember it needs to set up the graphics for your system or something.

Is there a patch anyone knows of that means I can bypass the CD requirement? I'm sure someone's had need of one in the past

But will they stop the GP3-2000 installation demanding the GP3 CD? That's what the whole problem is - the GP3 2k installer isn't bothered whether you have GP3 installed or not, it just wants to see the disk - and it isn't recognising mine...

Cheers guys, just rang Infogrames - apparently GP3 2k doesn't work on XP at all...and neither does GP3 if you patch it - which will explain why it would work when I tried to put v1.13 in...great stuff.
I'm just going to go buy Zoo Tycoon instead. |
