DUCATI CORSE ANNOUNCE WORLD SUPERBIKE RIDERS
25 October 2002 Neil Hodgson and Ruben Xaus to spearhead Ducati Corse’s World Superbike Championship attack in 2003. Ducati Corse has announced today that Spanish rider Ruben Xaus will line up alongside Neil Hodgson in the factory team to take part in the 2003 World Superbike Championship with the brand-new Ducati 999 Testastretta. |

No real surprise here, these guys wil certainly be in the hunt for the title, but with Colin and Troy gone it will be quite hollow.

Hey, you know I think that Neil doesn't rate Xaus ( actually I know he doesn't!!) so should be interesting in the garage!!!!
I love Xaus's riding style, he just needs to stay on the bike, my quote at the bottom actually refers to Xaus,JUST STAY ON THE BLOODY BIKE!!!!! |

To be perfectly honest, the 600 Supersport field seems far superior to that of the WSB!

What a come down for a once great team. So the increase in the Moto-GP seats on offer with the increase in the manufacturers participating has a deliterious affect on the Supers.

I think we always knew that was going to happen Moff. The only thing that can save WSB is these new rule changes, and hoping that the manufacturers will return.

WSB is currently the CART of bike racing, fantastic action with great personalities, being torn apart by soulless bosses trying to get more cash out of their bikes.
