Gibbs = 4

Evernham = 2
Davis = 2
Childress = 1
Penske = 1
MB2 = 1

What do they tell us ?
Ford had the most wins at 14, 10 of them were Roush cars.
(Ford won the Manufacturer's Championship.)

Pontiac had the fewest wins at 5, 4 of them were Gibbs cars.
(Yet a Pontiac driver won the Driver's Championship.)

What do you think ?

I think that there will be less Pontiac wins next year and there will be more Dodge wins. Dodge may be the odds on favorite for top Manufacturer next year. Gibbs and Penske could add quite a few by thenselves. Whatcha think?

Pontiac Car # & Driver :
4 - Mike Skinner
10 - Johnny Benson
32 - Ricky Craven
36 - Jerry Nadeau

Joe Gibbs' teams won those championships and they are going to Chevy.

I still do not like the idea of my coach going to Chevy.Yes that is were he got started but he has won 2 Cup tiltes with Pontiac.Now Pontiac may never win the big one in a long while.Also Joe Gibbs Racing will be about 3 or 4(Hendrick and DEI maybe one other) in the so called food chain were as with Pontiac he was the main team to get the equipment,testing and such.

Gibbs may not be first on the list at Chevrolet,

It is easy to pick a Chevy or Pontiac from the pack, but I have difficulties with a Ford and Dodge, both having very identical headlight and tail-light shape. Increasing the similarity are those extra grilles on Dodge cars (witch the street models don't have).
