Evil Fuzzy should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Carsport Zonda company founded

It's been confirmed. Carsport Zonda has been founded, it's a joint venture of Dutch Carsport Holland, US American Viperracing and Belgian GLPK teams.
They've got the exclusive rights to build an commercialize the Pagini Zonda C12 GTS.
The factory will be supplying the chassis and Carsport Holland will take on development of most parts and aerodynamics. For this Carsport Holland will get the help of a top-engineer coming from Audi !!
They will be entering the car in the 12 hours of Sebring, Petit Le Mans and the 24 hours of Le Mans (the article also mentions the European round of the ALMS at the Nurnburgring, but according to another post here that's one's been cancelled). In 2004 they will also participate in the FIA-GT championship.

They will be using the AMG mercedes V12 ! The engine is up to 555 bhp for 1280 kg weight of the car, which is about the same as a Viper. And also the cost is about the same as a Viper, half the price of a Ferrari 550.

Anthony Kumpen will certainly be driving, probably together with Mike Hezemans and an American driver.

I heard it'll run full ALMS schedule in 2003 by AVR....if that's true than 2003 Mosport will be a must for me(well...it already is, but just makes it more so...lol

I hope those are the specs on the road car. If they run the race car at that weight, it's not going to be that competitive, especially when the Corvettes and Saleens will be running at 1100 kg.

The weight is largly due to the fact that the engine is so heavy.

I tis the engine they use on the road model just tuned up a bit in terms of fuel consumption and revs, but it actually has less power than the road car.
Don't forget that the V12 has half as many cylinders again as the V8 used in the Vette, which makes it heavier, and longer.

Also, the majority of the tub is Carbon Fibre, and so for 2003, the car has to be rebuilt in aluminium, and then in 2004 they can build it in CF again, so it's gonna take some messing around.

AVR made those Vipers look like they were dragging anchors. I hope they get some help from Carsports Holland.

Yep, Their family comes from the city I live in. For some reason I don't really like the guy. You can all guess I fully agree with those , but I have to say Anthony's not all that slow in a Viper.
