The car has been for sale on and off for about the last year in the back pages of auto mags. Of course, the factory "borrowed" it at Sears Point of last year.
I must say that I feel the car is a bit overpriced consdiering that, while it is an Audi R8, it is a 2000 spec R8, and also that it will most likely only be, at best, competitive for the 10 ALMS races in 03. At best, it will be "grandfathered" in 04 competing against proabable ground effect GTP machines. Just my opinion. |
