Me too.
Just look out for my shiney orange probans - I was getting a whole heap of stick from the others last year 'cos they were too clean. There's a few drag marks on the back where they dragged me backwards over the tyre barrier at Quarry trying to get them dirty!
Other than that, just look for the little black sportscar in the car park (picture in my profile).

You're the only 10-10ther I've met at the track so far, Marshal.

I thought the Intermediate training was good. A little disappointed that the first aid training was the same as last years (put pressure on wounds, and this is how to remove a crash helmet), but going over first aid techniques again is never really a bad thing as it keeps it fresh in the mind.

The Drivers' Perspective section where we sat in the FFs and saw just how little they can see of the flags was very, very good, as was all the flagging stuff I thought. The observer training in the afternoon was good as well. Hands-on fire training was good too I think, as it gives you the confidence to go in with the extinguishers.

My only wish for next year is they put us somewhere a bit warmer. We were warmer outside than we were in the Strawford Center's garage! Absolutely brass monkies in there!

The Experienced training looked really interesting with all the cars going round all day. What were you doing exactly?

The experienced was all about scenarios.

We were working on procedures such as Safety Car, Black and Yellow Quarters, Reds.. It was really aimed at flaggers and Observers.

Really good as I was course..

I really enjoyed watching lap after lap of Castle Combe W.I. pottering around the circuit whilst I froze my Nu*s off !

Yeah, I wasn't really sure why we had course involved with that - still it was more interesting than soem T-Car races I've attended. i was going to suggest to Adrian that next year we could look at major incidents - from the course side interacting with Rescue Units and the Observers in managing teams in high pressure trauma situations. Any other ideas. Also nice to see all you all, roll on 29th March.
