Roberto Gonzales

Noticing that the "Teams" page on CART.com is no longer listing Dale Coyne as running two cars. Gone from the list is Roberto Gonzales in the #11. So it would appear that the grid is back down to 18.

Correct, perhaps the cheque bounced?

Oh well...with any luck there'll be another car or two by Long Beach.

It's pretty strange that there has been no announcements. Isn't this the second team Gonzales has bounced a check with? Think Dale will run 2 cars and make a late driver announcement? Maybe Memo Gidley? Just kidding Liz!

I thought this car was going to be funded by Pook so as to complete an 18 car grid. Now that Montiero is the 18th ully funded one, and Lotterer may be in the offing, there is no need for this one to go through, and CART have axed its funding.

CART was never behind Gonzalez, the reason Gonzo isn't driving his his own fault.

I think Gonzalez has always brought a large amount of dough, remember he was going to sign with Walker racing, then he didn't have the cash and Manning did. Maybe he doesn't have as much as he thought he did.

There are now rumours again that Lotterer will take that seat.

Yeah, I mean, when Paul Tracy destroys six-seven cars on those first corner accidents, and some more during the race, they'll need more cars!

Both Cars Left

Hello, I'm new to this forum.

Both transporters left this morning so the team is prepared to run 2 cars.

Cheers.
