A unique achievement (MS)
Aside from Michael Schumacher is there any other driver in F1 history who has come close to winning at every circuit on the calendar in a given season?
Even Prost and Senna had several races they were never able to win. (OK MS never won an F1 race in, say, Adelaide but that race is long gone) 2003 calendar ------------------ 1) Melbourne (won 2000, 2001, 2002) 2) Sepang (won 2000, 2001) 3) Interlagos (won 1994, 1995, 2000, 2002) 4) Imola (won 1994, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003) 5) Barcelona (won 1995, 1996, 2001, 2002, 2003) 6) A1-Ring (won 2002, 2003) 7) Monte Carlo (won 1994, 1995, 1997, 1999, 2001) 8) Montreal (won 1994, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2002) 9) Nürburgring (won 1995, 2000, 2001) 10) Magny-Cours (won 1994, 1995, 1997, 1998, 2001, 2002) 11) Silverstone (won 1998, 2002) 12) Hockenheim (won 1995, 2002) 13) Hungaroring (won 1994, 1998, 2001) 14) Monza (won 1996, 1998, 2000) 15) Indianapolis (won 2000) 16) Suzuka (won 1995, 1997, 2000, 2001, 2002) 2002 calendar included Spa (won 1992, 1995, 1996, 1997, 2001, 2002) |

Fangio
in 1956 season calendar:
Buenos Aires (1954, 1955, 1956)* Monte Carlo (1950)* Spa (1950, 1954, 1955) Reims (1954) Silverstone (1956) Nürburgring (1954, 1956) Monza (1953, 1955) *won also in 1957 The calendar also included Indy 500, but I excluded it, because it was mostly for American drivers. Jackie Stewart was also quite near. Of 1973 calendar only Österreichring was a track he had raced and not won. Anderstorp and Interlagos were new tracks in the calendar that year. The season had 15 races. Alain Prost had won 13 of 16 races at the end of the 1990 season. After that he won at Montreal in 1993, for the first time. Hungaroring was main place where he didn't win. Ayrton Senna meanwhile, had won 14 of 16 races in 1991 calendar. No wins at Magny-Cours and Barcelona but they were first time in calendar for 1991 season. Senna didn't win French GP ever. Well, this, of course, was his first real win at the A1-ring, so now, he has won on every single track on the current calendar. A great achievement!

He's also won at Estoril, Aida, Jerez and Buenos Aires incidentally.
