Mean looking! IMO looks like a Supra though. I wonder what they did to the engine, I mean competing in GT300 and all.

Yes that is the new Viper. I'm not sure what they've done to the engine, but do remember that the old Viper also ran in GT300.

That the 2004 Dodge Viper Roadster. Probably moving up to the GT 500 class to compete with the Supras, Skylines and NSXs.

I won't be surprised if they are actually using the 'old' viper engine in there, actually. I remember that the previous viper ran initially in GT500, but was bumped down to GT300 when they found that it wasn't too competitive.

pitviper should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
the viper was not competitive because it was restricted to all get out. the rules cater more to the lower displacement asian engines, so the viper was being choked at every pass. i'd be interested to know what specs this car is running under...
