Rodney Forbes wont be at WA
Interesting to note with all the franchise happenings that one of the strong rumours is that 00 will soon scale back to a single car level 2 team with Forbes in the car and Ritter left out to dry.
At WA only the top 32 point scores are allowed to race, missing out is Thexton, Romano/Wakefield and you guessed it, Roddler. Does this seem the stupidest decision by Bobby of all to keep his son as the teams one and only driver in few rounds time? Apart from that its bloody hilarious! The father son combo of Bob and Rod keeps as all smiling

But given that Ritter no longer has a ride and has been withdrawn that would leave only 31 entrants meaning that number 33 in the points (Forbes) is now effectively number 32 and will be able to start.
Is this not the case? |

As pointed out in other threads, Rodney will be in WA driving the 00 Falcon.
Ritter is no longer with 00, so Rodney will keep the number for the remainder of the year. |

How can Ritter be left high and dry? Surely SBR can put him with Winterbottom for Sandown and Bathurst?

Round 5 - Barbagallo - Event Preview The high cost of fielding a car in the V8 Supercar Championship, along with a tough sponsorship market, have led to 00 Motorsport making the decision to run only one car for the remainder of 2003 - commencing at Barbagallo this weekend. The car will be driven by Rodney Forbes. It is the Team's hope that Rodney will still drive with Greg Ritter in the two long distance races. We will keep you posted on this. |
