Michel Jourdain
Although Jourdain is clearly superior to Lavin and Dominguez, and is getting pretty close to Adrian's one time greatness, he still seems to be the least of the popular of the Mexican driver. Furthermore the anouncement crew at bot CBS and SPEED fails to recognizes how great he is, placing the winless Bruno as a higher performer this season. Jourdain's performance at Laguna Seca showed that he can be a champion its not everyday you pass nine cars after having your second ever pole taken away. Even with all this accomplished Jourdain is still treated like someone who merely stepped into the Championship lead by mistake, treated no better than a Dominguez whose win (Surfer's paradise) does not even come close to Juordain's fourth at Laguna.

Jourdain had a very long period when everyone questioned his ability and merit to being in CART. It was a shocker to me when he started to perform. Obviously a good part of it was the car he was in, but still...
You're definately right, it's taking people time to recognize him. I think his future is brighter than Bruno's. |
