Last year's lola wasn't all that succesful but the DAMS car at least showed potential. then they announced the B2K car and although radical in design it didn't shock the world with it's performance.
For a car that has been designed to take on the factory cars in the ALMS and the 24 hour race of Le Mans it has done very little. a highlight was the Lola victory in the ALMS but further it has done nothing I like the way lola is thinking about design and I hope that they won't adhere to sertain unwritten design rules but some faal errors have been commited during the development. For instance the large roll-hoop which slows down the car considerably. the aerodynamic package was only adequate but at Le mans the cars still sported their larde high-mounted rear wings. in defence for Lola: they don't have a super-huge budget. THE LOLA B2K IS A FAILURE! |

It would also help if more teams used the chassis and developed it from other angles, like the other main competitors have (not including the factory efforts), but I can understand why no one would want to as well.
