Marino Franchitti to V8s???
Heard from a friend of his that he would love to do V8s and is talking to some teams. He's going to the surfers race i believe. He's Courtneys best mate so maybe they could team up for the longer stuff? Or Dario could do some with him???

But everyman and his dog wants to have a run. Remember when Brundle was going to partner Brocky, or bugger that, there is every chance Paul Newman will rock up this year

Crash Test,
Paul Newman did attend everyone of the Adelaide F1 GPs too, so there!!! Everyyear, out would trot the social news with great expectations!! - The only real celebrity who regularly attended was the late George Harrison. Mike Mike |

Mr Stibbard has a lot to answer for
Paul Newman apparently wanted to race at Bathurst from about 1978 onwards.... or so the ARDC thought.... I reckon they should invite him out, put Paul, Murray Carter and Bob Holden together in the one car.... sponsored by Australian Pensioner's Insurance.... watch them fly |

AJ Foyt was confirmed at the HDT one year as well for Bathurst........
Marino Franchitti has been racing in British GT Championship (well, 2002 anyway), teaming with Kelvin Burt in an N-GT Porsche. |
