Surfers Showdown
The Lexmark 300 at Surfers Paradise this year will have a sensational bridesmaid event leading into the champcar race this year, with the culmination of a year long battle between Paul Stokell (Lamborghini) and John Bowe (take your pick) to take out the 2003 Donut King Championship. Only 16 points lies between Stokell and Bowe with 93 points up for grabs over the weekend. Should be awesome.

We still have no clue as to what car JB will be running at Indy either.... the loan from Greg Crick was a one-off only if you believe the PHR Scuderia press releases
The Dodge would be fairly unwieldy at Indy, pretty special up the straights, nearly useless in the wiggly bits... having said that, I never thought it would do any good at Winton either :confused: We need to start taking bets on what car they will pick for the Indy event... a Group 2 360 Challenge?, a 911 GT-3 RS?, a BMW M3 GT-R? |

I assume its the same car used at the 24hr last year that Fitzy bent? Seems quick enough if they can set it up in time |

The PHR Ferrari 360 Michelottos have allegedly been sold to European interests, so the team wont run them again until the 24hr, where they will race for the new owners, allegedly.
The team has the 911 GT3RS from last year that Fitzy crashed, and a BMW GT-R 5L V8 is coming in time for the 24hr. And last weekend Bowe borrowed the Crick Viper to get a whole swag of points |

No worries... it is likely JB will run the GT3 RS at Surfers, which should suit it down to the ground
 So it will be 4 cars used to win the series, if JB indeed wins it, 2 360's, the Viper and the Porsche... |

The guys a bit of a legend really, all those different cars with completely different attitudes.
You are right about the Porsche. (Interesting to note that in the latest new car faults survey in the US the Porsche had the least faults in the first 3 years of ownership) |
