Sebring Entry List Due Soon...

I believe that the deadline is Jan. 28 or 29 for entries to Sebring...

We should be seeing a list either at the end of the week or the first of next week...

In addition to the announced ALMS teams, a RollCentre Dallara, the TVR's, a Morgan Aero 8, and if I remember correctly, some aspect of the Audi UK contingent will be coming...

Any other possible LMES types, or cars coming out from Europe in March???
-any of those Zyteks?
-Taurus Sports ran last year...will they be back???
-What about Team Goh???
- Nasamax was here last year, but the "Conversion" of the Reynard alluded to in another thread tells me they're not coming this year.
- Lister also came...are they coming back???
- Any of Europe's MG-Lolas???

a site called SebringFans.com alluded to the newest WR as a possible entry...

Any GTS or GTs making the trip????

How about any North American entries that we are not aware of????

A privateer operation with a Panoz LMP1???? How about the guys who campaigned it last year??? Their drivers seem to have been scattered everywhere, but I didn't know if we should be expecting news...

Have I missed anything???
Your thoughts...

I cant imagine no Ferrari's in the ALMS , I reckon there is going to be some big news about that soon . Raffanelli is way too quite to be not involved in some way . Just pure speculation on my part

Oh yaeh , your also getting a Rollcentre Dallara

Is that the entry that Danny Sullivan will be driving???

I've been reading a lot about it, but wanted to be sure I'm thinking of the same team...

Does anybody know if the rollcentre dallara has the same engine (judd) as in 2002? I know that they bought the car from oreca.

Yes they will be using a 4 Litre Judd V10 although they did look at using the 5litre but with such a short (no pun intended!) time to Sebring didn't want to start messing around with the car.

I thought that Judd leases their engines....

and from what I've read in other posts on this, the Dallaras were supposedly sold as rollers for about $300,000 each....

Given these items above, I'm assuming that RollCentre has signed a lease agreement with Judd for the 4.0 L power...

Please correct any errors in this post...I just wnat to know if this info is still considered correct....at least as I undestand it...

We viseted racing for holland a couple of months ago. They said that they leased their judd engines. I assume that they have the same kind of agreements with rollcentre.

i can confirm that Konrad will enter at least one saleen at Sebring. They also have plans to run at other select alms races.

I would also assume that either RML or GNM will be at Sebring with a saleen.

Barron Conner was the first official entrant for Sebring, which was on the ALMS/IMSA website. Sullivan and Bosch handing Scott Atherton the paperwork and check. They were in Paris. Atherton isn't based in Paris, is he? I was confused as to why they were in Paris.

Rollcentre Dallara=COOL! Tell them to stick around for a fee more races on this side of the pond.

Just a thought ..... but im thinking that you might find Jan Lammers in the other second 575 . About the time of the Bosch rumour last year , Lammers was next to be found in a Prodrive Ferrari at PLM . Coincedance or wishfull thinking on my part ?

Mr. Atherton is based in the USA...he is the CEO for the ALMS...

As noted above, he was in Paris for the LMES kickoff...

Tim, your mail above isn't far from the truth, additionally a substantial(!) spares package as well that Oreca had. Lease is for the 4ltr and will have the paddle-shift (which worked so beautifully for RfH Dome's) wired in.

FYI - car should be shaken down in the UK mid-Feb then in Estoril for testing end Feb prior to being flown to Sebring. There may be a few talented guest testers aiding the cause as well !

To Fieldgate:

There is a thread on the Dallaras that someone else started that I hope that you will visit and share your thoughts with us concerning a possibility of a working agreement of some sort that might be possible with Dallara....if both parites would like to have a mutually-beneficial relationship for the future...
