Why cant I search less than 4 letters
Im trying to find out if there has been any posts about the RAM March 821's but I can't because the is a minimum word length of 4 letters. Why is that and is there a way round it like an advanced search?

Because there's too high a probability of finding a short word. If you searched for something like "the" or "if", the database would fall over because pretty much every post would contain it and the search would be huuuuuuge! I don't think there's a way round it unfortunately.

Would it not be possible to just make it say there are too many posts. I mean if you applied the logic that someone would put a stupid word like 'the' they could also put a longer word like 'there' and get millions of results. Then when someone is looking for something like '821' its not like there would be millions of them.
