Matt H should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Bad Omen for Ozemail Racing ?

We all remember what happened with John Bowe at Albert Park with his wheel falling off at the start of one of the V8 Supercar Races ???

Well on page 28 of yesterdays Herald Sun, there is a 1/4 page advertisment of a "Voluntary Product Safety Recall" on V8supercars Australia and Ford Ozemail Racing Team infant rompers, or jumpsuits.

The real scary thing about this is the reasoning behind it.

"It has been identified that some studs do not meet our stringent safety specifications and could detach, therefore presenting a potentional ingestion hazard"

Perhaps the ozemail team should be looking for some new employees for the team, as they are having a runn of bad luck with studs

cheers.

YOU THINK CAN DO BETTER DO YOU??? YOUR COMMENTS ARE VERY HARSH, THE TEAM HAS HAD 2 DAYS OFF IN THE LAST 4 WEEKS AND HAVE BEEN WORKING AT LEAST 12 HOUR DAYS.

IT WAS NOT ANYONES FAULT THEY DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH AIR PRESSURE TO TIGHTEN THE NUTS PROPERLY, AND ITS NOT LIKE TO BOYS SIT AROUND STICTHING THE STUDS ON AT SMOKO.

obvoiusly blueprint left his sense of humour at home.

although u say its not anyones fault that they didnt have enough air pressure, why dont they have someone checking the air pressure ??? perhaps now, they will ??

and no its not funny, young children could have choked due to a design fault in the jumpsuit.

perhaps from your yelling, you had better take a valium and calm down before your veins pop.

Yes the studs may be dangerous but thats nothing to do with the team. And maybe they will check the air pressure this time. I think I have a good sense of humour but your comments are just not funny and its HER not him mate.

awe-well, cant please everyone :d obvoiusly your sense of humour isnt that good if u cant see the irony of two events both having "stud" problems.

sorry you took it to heart..

plus i wasnt aware of your gender, thought u were a guuy coz u were acting like a d!ck.

still with the team, being a professional outfit like all the supercar teams are, surely checking air pressure would be a priorety(sp).

OK I can see the irony and I was being a b!tch more than a d!ck, but the guys have been working their butts off and don't need bagging. You'd think they would check the pressure, but mistakes do happen.

I thought GTR said that the bell, collapsed and thus the wheel came undone? Which was it, it appeared that it was just a case of the nut coming undone to me but I would be interested if it wasn't that

Matt i understood that it was humour but i thought it was fairly obvious myself. The smiley faces and clanging of beer bottles could have been a give away....

i know bjr dont make the jumpsuit...i just thoguht the irony might have been obvoius to some fans. i no doubt beielve how bjr and all the teams have worked hard between each meeting.

i wasnt really bagging the team at all, but u did bring up the point, blueprint, in regards to the air pressure.

onlooker, i think your right, but to a generic fan, they would see it as being the nut fell off

smithers, exactly

Yes, as far as I was informed it was a problem with the air pressure

Blueprint, i wasnt doubting your info, not in the least. but u did say that it was no ones fault, i would tend to disagree with you on that point, i beleive it should have been something that teams would keep an eye on. but a simple mistake, which any huuman being can make

cheers..

bluey, no drama (as u can see ive learnt the ":"beer":" phrase off by heart now")

a valueable lesson learnt by bjr and all teams, that something to some people as small, like air pressure for rattle guns, is a very important issue.

Another bad omen . Ozemail team have 2 of the 3 oldest full time drivers in V8 Supercars . Bowe 49 and Bradly at 43 . They are by far , collectively , the oldest age team in the field .

The Mobil branding was on the cars at the AGP

Here's hoping its also linked to a tieup with Enzed for supply as well... winners all round would be nice
