The lambo has hit the tire barrier but it looks like there is not much damage O.Gavin was at the wheel.

Are you sure he went in the tyres ? I'm not sure... the rear wing is still safe... the gravels may have stopped him before the shock...
ETCC now... |

All those saleens in the first 6 in warm up. It should make for an interesting first few laps.

Half-way the race. The Lamborghini leading with more than 20 sec gap to nr. 2!
WOW, this car is competitive. 1 Kox/Gavin 2 Cappellari/Goll 3 Bobbi/Gardel 4 Wendlinger/Wolf 5 Peter/Babini 6 Lechner/Seiler 7 Campbell-Walter 8 Maassen/Luhr 9 Longin/Khan/Ble 10 Zwaan/Bouchut/Hillebrand |

Walter Lechner got the car up to 3rd, passing the Lambo and 575. Then driveshaft failure with less than 20 mins to go. This is so depressing. they were on track for a podium!! Toni Seiler did a Super Stint (lapping faster than the Lambo at that time!!- and anyone else on the track)
what does it take for Konrad to have a good result? (or even finish!?!) |

Wow. The Lambo finally runs a race and finishes 3rd! That's a huge result for the Reiter team. That is one hell of a good looking car...

they were so close. Franz gave up his time in the car to put Walter back in it, so they could go and shoot for the podium. otherwise, they would have finished 5th or 6th(wouldnt have finished today either way), now they dont finish at all.
im just very disgusted with the reilability of the saleens. Konrad puts so much effort into these cars. they are super fast. they have 4 super drivers now, and they cant get these things to finish. If they didnt have problems, im sure it would have been a win and and a 2nd or 3rd. Just very very dissapointed. They fix one probelem with the car, then another problem comes up. very dissapointed... |

from what i can gather from the live timing and comment updates on eurosport.com it seemed to be a pretty good race, the lambo is certainly competitive and i just cant wait to see the highlights on eurosport later....

Reiter wouldnt have finished third, if Lechner's car didnt break. Lechner was alot faster than Gavin at the end
