Etcc/btcc???
How come there are etcc specs and btcc spec cars together now what is the idea behind it.
Im not knocking it im just curious

BTCC allowes probably ETCC (Super2000) cars to attract more cars. IMO S2000 is the future and it's already used in ETCC, OPM (Germany), STCC (Sweden) and other European countries.
And maybe BTCC hopes they attract factory teams like BMW and Alfa (It helped Seat already to join BTCC). http://tentenths.com/forum/showthrea...=BTCC+and+ETCC |

It allows European teams to enter the series without having to build to BTC from stratch. Its been a good move for the championship
