Milwaukee Result - **spoiler**

Dario Franchitti takes his first IRL IndyCar win ahead of Buddy Rice and Sam Hornish.

Good drive from Manning too before crashing.

Poor show again from Scott Sharp and AJ Foyt.

Dixon failed to start after chipping his wrist in a practice crash.

WELL DONE DARIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Indeed. Dario's from 5 miles along the road from where I live - after seeing him thwarted so many times it's great to see.

His first win since Rockingham, I believe.

Congrats to Dario (that makes it three out of four AGR teams - pretty remarkable they are able to maintain such a high level throughout the whole team!) but shame to hear about Dixon.

So how was the race? A one-guy-leads-all like the Champ Car race or did it feature - gasp! - lead changes?

It wasn't one of the better IRL races, but the result made it a good one!

I thought it was very entertaining myself. There was alot of lead changes, and alot of passing throughout the field. It pretty much came down to fuel milaege at the end though. It would have been great if they all had enough to go the distance full out.

I think AGR and Team Rahal are easily the two best teams out there, (I'm a genius heh?LOL)but Penske is still in the hunt. Ganassi has to be one of the biggest disappointments of the season. They crashed 3 cars pretty heavily this weekend, which I think will dim there hopes at Michigan next weekend. And don't get me started with Kelley Racing! They came in third in the early tests there, and then they left THAT car home for the race today! I mean, what the hell?

Good run for Bell again, who saved Panthers and Chevy's butt for another week. A star in the making? Oh, nice race Dario!

Nice debut for the IRL!

Great to see Dario get a much needed victory. A good effort put in by Hornish as well.

Not a good race for Wheldon. That will hurt him with the championship.

Michigan should be awesome!

Im peeved , i was in for a big weekend of racing.

started on saturday when I attended qualifying for the V8 supercar round at Winton In australia , then sunday watched the v8 race on TV (all going well so far) , watched the 125cc bike race from Donington and then taped the 250 and Moto GP races , while that was taping i watched the Formula One race from hockenheim and then when that was finished went back and watch the 250 and moto GP races that I had taped earlier.

then has 2 hours to spare so I thought I would take a nap and set my alarm to get up and i was planning to tape the IRL race and try and get Yoke TV happening on the net and watch the champcar race live and then watch the IRL race after that.

well my alarm didnt go off

I woke up to see the last 5 laps or so of the IRL race (well done Dario btw ) and then Yoke TV website went down and I didnt get to see the champcars.

One heck of a weekend but I failed at the final hurdle

Did I tell you that my new TagHeuer watch has a built in alarm?

You do realize that the whole world of 10/10ths will be looking at that saying, why does marcus have a problem with GP Racers watch? What's he going on about? Has he lost it, is he still fit to be a mod?

AllI can say is that good things come in large packages. Mconville, Edwards, Allmandinger, And Dario.

Pitty that didn't factor into the F1 race, eh?

Another great race, with lots of action and a well-deserved first IRL win for Dario. Nice to see Bell running strongly too. Meira's day will come, but that wasn't it.

Good job Dario, at last; once again a good performance by Townsend, with a not-so-competitive engine.

Meira will have his breakthrough either at Michigan or at Kentucky....

Their set-ups on the high banks have been extremely good this year....they have been fast....
