Cosworth renews Champ Car deal

From grandprix.com: http://www.grandprix.com/ns/ns13378.html
Quote:
Our sources in the United States are reporting that the stability of Cosworth Racing has been bolstered in recent days by a new agreement to supply engines to the Champ Cars series in 2005. The Ford-badged engines will remain much as they have been for the last two seasons.
I was certain that OWRS already had a deal with Ford - Cosworth for '05

They had said they'd keep the same rules, but this is offical confirmation of the Ford badging, rather than having to be customers of Cosworth.

Good for Ford! They have more faith than a lot of the fans have. I've always supported Ford but this reminds me why!

I'm glad Ford are around next year. It's probably the one racing venture that actually improves my precetion of a company, eeven though Ford is a disaster of a company. How many car currently in production are you aware of with an engine that was designed in the spare time of the engineers because management just didn't get it? Hint: It starts with the letters "R" and "X" and ends in the number "8".

N-E-Wayz... I am glad to hear that Ford is stickeing with Champ Car. Compared to other racing ventures it doesn't cost that much, and they have the monopoly of the publicity because they are the only brand in the series!

Now let's get General Motors in the mix somehow!
