Hayden breaks collarbone in testing

Nicky Hayden may miss next weekend's Portuguese Grand Prix after braking his collarbone in a testing crash,a ccoridng to Ceefax.

Who would replace him? Kiyonari? Ukawa?

i reckon repsol will run 1 bike.... that is badluck for nicky - but saying that, he is young and in his 2nd season and i dont think he has missed a gp thru injury... john hopkins has missed plenty...

This one's pretty offensive and unreasoned - there are differnet severities of an injury like this, and Reynolds had 3 times as long to recover. I don't see you risking life and limb on one of those bikes.

I think Hayden mentioned he'd turn up and see if he was competetive, if not, he'd park it as "This isn't the sorta series where you can toddle round in 12th place."

Bit tetchy aren't we bootsontheside... only joking. If we are getting serious and accusing people of being unreasonable how do you know I don't race? never assume, actually I don't but I do the next best thing and marshal everything from clubbie to motogp i was only joking.. actually between thruxton and brands was 2 weeks so not really three times as long.. I know all the guys out there are amazing but they seem to have a sense of humour were as you are lacking
