ProDrive and Jordan ??
I've just been talking a a friend of mine who is driving up the M40, going past the ProDrive building he noticed a large Jordan transporter parked outside.....
As DR has just been dumped by Honda, would there be any chance he's taking the chance to stick one on Honda by cosying up with Toyota ??? |

Its not impossible.... but would it make sense considering all the stuff Mr Richards has talked about in recent days about wanting to wind back from some of his activities?

Perhaps ProDrive have a whole pile of extra staff that they might want to use on some F1 projects, without DR at the helm...

OT, but relevant.
According to Autosport magazine Prodrve are looking to extend their 'relationship' with Honda by (possibly)running Accords in the WTCC, with potnetially 2005 as a development year before a full campaign in 2006. DR is quoted as saying "It's quite likely that we (Prodrive) will be doing something with Honda again next year (2005." This could be part of a 'severance' package as prodrive still had two years to run on their contract with BAR/Honda. |

haven't Jordanalready all the equipment and staff necessary?
Will partnership with prodrive create any redundancy? |

Wouldn't EJ take his helicopter to Prodrive to discuss a tie-up, rather than a large transporter?
I can't see DR becoming involved in Jordan in its current guise. |

Imo, if we are to see DR back in F1, then it will likely be with either Midland F1 or Team Dubai.

A lot of the teams in that area sell, hire equipment between each other. It more likely that Jordan were picking up a second hand shot blasting cabinet than there being a tie up.

It could have simply been the truck driver calling in on one of his mates on his way home!
I am sure many team personnel have friends in other teams. Or perhaps the Jordan lorry was being borrow for some reason or dropping off another vehicle stranded at Silverstone........ |

Ther are lots of more likely explanations for this than the idea of a buyout, partnership or management deal. Prodrive dont' really have anything that Jordan lack.

With the Toyota powerplant on board, Jordan would be crazy not to team up with ProDrive to develop the chassis.
I doubt Prodrive will tho, they seem to be Honda's extra marital relations manager. |

Really it's more likely to be "Can I borrow an extra rig for the week for Christian to run another 94 drivers at 50K a pop?", "Yes if you drop back the two tins of seat foam I gave you" and so on, life's like that here.

Maybe they borrowed EJ's road car to test the f3 drivers and they were just dropping it off.
