Speed Kills should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Can it really get any closer?

I've done a quick Manufacturer's Championship points table for 2004 and if my figures are correct, it shows Holden with 24,182 and Ford with 22,681. There are a couple of extra Holden drivers for the year, but its still only a difference of a handful % between the two sides.

But the real thing to come of note was that is was 50/50 Holden/Ford in the top ten. Again 50/50 in positions 11 though 20 and again 50/50 Holden/Ford in postions 21 - 30.

Can it really get any closer than this?

At the end of the year, the results are certainly what you would expect from a formula which tries to keep the cars as even as possible.
