Loeb wins in style by winning the final stage - SS20 Whaanga Coast 2. Winning margin for the 29km stage was 9.3 seconds. Winning margin for the rally was 49.8 seconds.

Results after 20 stages.

P. # Crew Time
1 1 Loeb/Elena Citroen Xsara 3h34'51"6
2 7 Gronholm/Rautiainen Peugeot 307 3h35'41"4
3 5 Solberg/Mills Subaru Impreza 3h36'00"3
4 2 Duval/Prevot Citroen Xsara 3h36'57"9
5 8 Martin/Park Peugeot 307 3h38'00"7
6 3 Gardemeister/Honkanen Ford Focus WRC 3h38'07"9
7 6 Atkinson/Macneall Subaru Impreza 3h39'28"8
8 10 Galli/Damore Mitsubishi Lancer 3h41'42"1
9 9 Rovanpera/Pietilainen Mitsubishi Lancer 3h42'36"2
10 14 Stohl/Minor Citroen Xsara 3h43'07"1

That should be the final order unless there are penalties or failures in the final touring section back to Auckland. Did anyone from here get to see the stages? I've been on call out duty this weekend, so I've been stuck here in Auckland.

The turbo of Rovanperä's Lancer gave up before finish, so he retired from the 9th place.

Good result for Loeb, good to see Gronholm get a strong finish too - this year could be really tight for the title (we just need Martin to start scoring big now).

Atkinson must be a good marketing spend for Subbie Oz and Atkinson/Gore Group.

It's not cheap at about $2.5 million - currency unknown.....
