Anybody have any new ideas that could happen in touring cars?
We've already had street races, night races and soon-to-be
'reverse' races.

Whats your suggestions?

I don't know if need anything new. I like the present format of things. How about an endurance race for the BTCC cars at Oulton Park at night time? A 6 hour race! Now that'd be great!

You mean turn it into a 'petit Le-Mans' series? No, thanks! Thats not touring cars-everybody would be sensible. I remember JC saying in '97 if each race had been an enduro he's have been on the podium every race!

Sensible ? Ever seen Bathurst Mr Hunt ?!

My suggestion would be for a 1000km street race kicking off late afternoon and running into the night... that'd be cool!

It sure would be cool, Craig, but I suspect after the lights go green, you'd wander into the bar, and stagger out six hours later just before the chequered flag!

Where would we hold this race? Snetterton used to run the Willhire 24 hour Saloon Car race, but who wants to spend all that time there?

If it has to be a 'proper' circuit, I nominate Donington, but I'd rather see them race on a city street course. Now THAT I would like to see!!

Which city? Who's gonna design thr track layout?
