Looking for ex Driver - Canberra
Hi, I am trying to get in touch with an Eric Jones, he would have been in Canberra in the 80's and 90's, and drove one of my Group A cars a few times. I am trying to fill in a few gaps in its history, and was hoping Eric may be able to help. Does anyone know him, and could perhaps pass my number on?

Is that the same Eric Jones that ran the Gemini Sports Sedan?

I don't know Pete, I know nothing more than the name and that he was from Canberra at that stage. Car was in Canberra from 1989 to 2001 but wasn't used much at all, I know it didn't do any races but Eric drove it in practice a couple of times.

The only Eric Jones i know ran a black Gemeni Coupe with a Holden six, i think the same car later ran by Trevor Hodge i think.

The Eric Jones Gemini was the one Peter Brock was supposed to race. Rowan Harman had it for a while, then John Chambers, Robin Doherty, i think even Darren Hossack had a run it for a while, now runs in the Victorian State Series in the hands of Stephen Craig. Rohan details its exact history in the Sports Sedan thread. The Trevor Hodge Gemini ran at the same time as Eric ran his Gem.....
