Nice grid, no Lambo, but its a nice addition to see MenX coming over.. and hopefully both Nash Saleens will make the grid too.

RAM will miss this round - the've lost oil in gearbox at last round of Polish Endurance Championhip, repair was long and they out of time.

But Maciej Marcinkiwiecz, one of the drivers will be there in one of the Konrad's Saleens (source: marcinkiewicz.pl ( in Polish) )

It is no surprise that the Lambo will not arrive at the FIA-GT round in Istanbul because this race was never on their schedule.

As reportetd on project-lemans.de at the Oschersleben weekend there is a chance to see the Lamborghini at the LMES round in Istanbul because JLOc wants to race in the final round of the LMES.

Was it this race where GLPK would race with a revised aero-kit?

Disappointing size of grid I thought, but with having to travel all that way for only 2 hours of racing, it's not surprising

that's a tiny GT2 grid - is that possibly the smallest one we've had yet? Considering no G2 cars to go with it...

I hope GNM and Konrad can get both their cars running pretty well this weekend, it's a new track but what car do people think the circuit may be suited to best? Or rephrase, I guess I'm asking race predictions...

Tiny grid? At Oschersleben we also had 23 cars...

I think there will be GNM Saleens at Istanbul. GNM regular Paolo Ruberti will drive along with Robert Lechner in the Konrad Saleen, so there I´m afraid there will be no GNM and grid will be smaller again.

Yes, if this is true, then for sure that would mean that Graham Nash wont be running this weekend, yet again..

Only 19 cars? I think that's quite a poor grid size...

.............and last?

Ferrari are pulling support for the 575GTC according to DSC.

GPC are looking for an alternative chasssis.

Looks like the Saleens have struggled again.

How many MC12s, Astons and C6.Rs are there to go around?

There could be some teams forced out of FIA GT.

maybe GPC should concentrate over GT2 . get the 430GTC for next year and win everything there is .. LeMans included

How can they honestly do that ? I wouldnt want to be involved with them if they pull the plug after you forking out loads of wedge for a car that didnt work effectivily in the first place and then have to fork out ****loads more for a mod kit !

That is a bloody disgrace if you ask me , shame on them !

Not really JAG, IMO. The teams running the MC12's have IMO no real reason to complain. Yes the car will never race at Le Mans, but there is life after Le Mans! The European Maserati teams in particular are doing very well with the cars, Vitaphone are currently leading the FIA GT teams Championship with JMB in 2nd and JMB are leading the drivers championship with Vitaphone in 3rd. Okay in the ALMS the car hasnt faired quite so well but IMO its not done badly either.

The 575 on the other hand has never really been given much in the way of development and support by Ferrari. I say again, the European teams running MC12's this year have not had a raw deal, the car took 1st and 2nd in the Spa 24hrs this year in front of a huge crowd and has done extremely well in FIA GT this year, but not been totally dominant. IMO.
