Francesca should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Gary Paffett won £125,000 for winning the Scholarship Class of British F3 last season. A reported condition of the prize money was that it be spent with a British F3 team. Now that he has signed to Keke Rosbergs German F3 Team...what do you think he should do with the money?

a) Give the money back so that it can go to one of the Scholarship Class drivers that has got a British F3 drive
b) Do a runner and take the money to Germany with him
c) Spend the money on plastic surgery, have his name changed by to Andre Lotterer and have the real Andre Lotterer bumped off
or
d) Give it all to Comic Relief

Let the BRDC use it to help talented, under-funded young British drivers in the lower formulae. I'm sure that there are many drivers that need just a little more cash to get a drive or help them, and everyone would appreciate the cash.

However, £125k wouldn't be able to help many people in motor racing these days.

The BRDC do not hand any money to the Driver in these circumstances, they merely wait for the driver to get a drive together and then they approach the team with respect to the funding and the team deals directly with the BRDC. The driver never sees the reddies this only seems fair!!If you actually saw £125K you`d wonder why the hell your spending all that cash !!!

Anyway the facts are correct the BRDC do declare that the money is to be used to fund a driver in the British F3. However they are there to promote british drivers moreso than British racing teams, being the British Racing Drivers Club its no wonder. So the chances are that they will allow the money to be taken to a team outside of Britain, if not just to show the Crouts how the Brits do it!

A little bit unfair of him to comment that there were no top drives available though!! If he had the rest of the budget there was plenty of drives for him!
