Aus Grand Prix Kart Race

Anyone know who won ?? Couldn't get down to Melb this year.

Prac/Qualifying (over 2 laps only) was this morning and the TWO lap race is at 09:20 tomorrow morning (Sat) - nothing on Sunday.

No doubt it would be exciting to drive a Superkart around Albert Park, but i think those little go-karts would have to be dull to drive on such a big track.

You couldn't use a superkart not with AVESCO/VESA at the same meet, they would show the V8's how to do a quick lap. Superkarts used to race with Group A\C cars but the on track announcer said what times the SK was doing and they never got invited back. You can't spent 20K a year and beat a "TAXI". I know I used to pit for the NSW Champion in a 250 National!

SK times at most tracks around the country (International class) are usually slotted between the SuperBikes and V8's. SOmething the V8's have never liked.

Given that Sat mornings race was scheduled for 2 laps at 0920 - it would appear that no results are going to be made available from Albert Park - again!
