I'll get back to you on the main question, but Rodolfo Gonzalez will win the National Class and emerge as a future star.

Conway I reckons....aside from him? Oli Jarvis & Bruno Senna won't do badly, they'll take wins too.

Okay, I'm going to say Oli Jarvis. I think he will be the top Mugen runner, unless Christian Bakkerud can find some consistency, and there's just a chance that the in-depth organisation of Carlin may topple the Merc teams over the course of the season. Anyway, there's a chocolate muffin at stake here!
![]() It's looking as though Yelmer Buurman will be Fortec's lead driver, to throw another name into the mix. |

Oli Jarvis!! The Honda wont be slow this year, and Carlin know how to win F3! As a rookie, Oli has been very quick. He will improve, as all rookies do, and will be even faster.

Pffft.
That's a toughie. Salvador Durán, Bruno Senna and Mike Conway are gonna be tough ones to beat me thinks, but I reckon it'll be Olli Jarvis that takes te overall champ. Just cause I'm a biased fan of his, innit? lol joke. |

Conway will win, but Duran is a great driver and im sure he'll run him close, as will Oli Jarvis. Buurman and Walker should also be race winners. I think its pretty certain that Rodolfo Gonzales will win the national class.

conway. should he do a courtney, then senna.
hopefully the mercs will give the brit f3 guys a better chance in the blue ribband races but still....im sorry to say it but im hard pressed to see any talent that sticks out like a sore thumb here again. sure these guys are top drivers but i dont see any piquets, carrolls, greens, digrassis, etc. oh well hopefully a few people will step up a level during this season and prove me wrong. |

i agree to some extent about the no prominent talent thing. there's definitely a most sorted of all the drivers, but i'm yet to be convinced he has anything other than a work ethic and nothing else to think about. the one with the most talent i don't think is quite ready to put it all together, but again, i think i need to see some racing to get the ideas sorted.
salvador duran is a good long odds small stake bet, but i'm not convinced he has the tools at his disposal to win the whole championship. incidentally, why are people thinking conway and senna? why not duran? |

Because Duran is fast but wild and RR will provide a consistently good car at every circuit and Hitech won't.

I'm going to go with Bruno, out of pure desparation for him to do well. Aside from that, I think he's got a good package this year; he's improving all the time and we all know he has a natural ability.
I think Duran is going to be a great contender as well, he'll definately be right up there. He's shown in A1, particularly at Laguna that he can battle at the front of motor-races, and he's a kid with bundles of talent. Obviously also, there's Conway. He'll be up with there, but something tells me - I don't know what, nothing quotable; but I just don't think he'll come out on top. To conclude; I hope and think: Senna. |

And also, Hitech were consistently good throughout last year, considering Asmer finished ahead of both Clarke and Senna last year in the double Rs. |

It quite easy to predict really. I've no doubt that 4 or 5 different drivers will win races but over the course of a whole season you can't bet against RR and Conway. It's a bit like football. In a one-off match West Brom may well beat Chelsea but over the course of 38 games they'd never win the championship.Easy!

Double R's problems this year are that they are running 3 cars, not 2, and they are favourites to win. They will have the pressure of expectation, which they didn't have last year. Due to the Mercedes factor, Carlin are underdogs for once, so in a way they can't lose. If they win it's a fantastic achievement; if are on the podium, its a great effort. And even if they're 6th, it's due to 'the bloody Merc', etc. |

He may well do it though, he's progressing well, although I'd be surprised if he put a consistent challenge together. One for 2007 methinks, unless he's snapped up by a bigger series before the year is out! |
