Dean Watson should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Cadwell Parks Mystic!!!!

yet another cracking 750mc weekend, good grids, good racing, reasonable finish times and lunch breaks dubious weather this morning which leads me on to cadwell parks chief marshals new title MYSTIC JOHN!!!

Last Saturday (22nd April) MGCC briefing stated "we will finish at 17:30"
actual finish time 17:27 (by my watch)
Sunday 23rd April HSCC Briefing stated "due to yesterdays correct prediction we will finish today at 17:45"
actual finish 17:45

Yesterday 30th April 750mc breifing stated " due to my success last week I'm not predicting finish but it will be 17:40"
Actual finish 17:40 ( see the pattern forming?)
Today 1st May breifing " following my hat trick no more finish predictions but the rain will clear and the sun will shine by 14:00"
Rain stopped at 13:20 sun came out at 13:40 at stayed out!!!!

I thought it rained a little after that...as I left the rain certainly had gone and was getting nice and sunny!

Mr Palmer says long term they're looking at tarmacing the paddock which could be good, got a tad muddy...

There are many ways to describe John Watson - Mystic is not one that immediately comes to mind!
Seriously, thanks for all your help John, both at the HSCC and 750 meetings - we'd be lost without you!

Is there a time limit on John's abilities? I only ask so that I can make plans for the MGCC meeting at Snetterton on the 21st!

I had a really enjoyable two days at Cadwell, and intend to return. I have to say though the fire at the end causing me to break into a run, and John scarey mystic powers might have changed my mind. But anyhow, thanks to everyone at Cadwell and 750 for an excellent weekend's motorsport.

Make that two nights in the clubhouse and two full brekkies, next stop 2012 Olympic 100m final!!!!!!

As for why there's no rallycross tracks in the midlands.......it's the eternal question and one that has tried to be solved for ever and a day.

I got some of it right !
I said it would rain in the afternoon after a truly tropical morning, and it did !
I said it would fininsh at 5.45pm, and the assembly marshals finished at 5.45pm. !
I said there would be a minimum of 40 minutes for lunch, and there was a 50 minute break !
Sadly I mis - calculated on the clear up time between races, as I haven't been to Donington for a great number of years.
I could of called for a stop during the last race as I had two Spin and stalls in the middle of the Chicane, which would have made my prediction much closer. But what would of been said then !!!!
So, 23 minutes out wasn't too bad.

So I think my record of predictions still beats 'Mystic Meg's', and i have only gone public for a month. So there......

I just have to adjust to the "Vibes of the Midlands and the South"
