Xero Competition have confirmed their entry to the BTCC from next weekends races at Oulton with GT driver Adam Jones, in a Lexus IS200.

Takes the field to 18 cars which is a respectable grid for any championship.

18 would be the highest since the end of 2004. Good news to have another make of car on the grid, that adds to the variety. They have plenty of time to make an impression.

It's great to see another entry, and I wish Jones and the Xero team the best of luck.

I hope they can quickly negotiate the teething problems often experienced by small independant teams in the BTCC.

Slightly more than a guess. See Andy's comments in the Spotters' Guide thread "Hot off the press, is the livery for the Xero Competition Lexus. Xero were kind enough to describe it today."

Yeah, Redshoes is right. I've been in contact with many of the teams recentley and they advised that the car will have blue front and rear bumpers in ACE colours and will run as car no 21. In addition ACE would appear for this race on the side. They referred me to a logo, but no mock-up, so taken it and ran with it....basically as described.

In Front, Xero and a new (hopefully)forthcoming team have been very helpful with this along with SEAT Sport.
