Nice shot - did you have a pass to be in the pit lane?

And excuse my ignorance but what's Bruno doing at GP Masters?

So looking forward to tomorrow!

Actually seeing Nige race in anger - albeit in a single make formula.

Ah cheers for the info Ian. I've heard he's good and a real prospect - but those are some shoes to fill - much much bigger than Jacques, Nico or Nelson Junior et al have ever had to ...

Well, that was a good weekend, a bit wet at times, but good fun. I'll post some more photos shortly...

It was quite miserable where I was standing.

I'm surprised that any of my photos came out, I seemed to be forever losing my balance in the wind, etc.

I've just finished sorting out my lot, but I'll upload it to my site tomorrow, it is half 3 in the morning here

Damn family roast dinners

My lot came out okay considering most of my time was spent doing some kind of idiotic dance in the wind.

TGP got the best out of me.

Nice shots James where did you position yourself?

I was at Priory so was "stuck" with side on and rear view shots mainly - bloody rain kept getting onto my UV filter so have had to make extensive use of the clone tool in Photoshop!

Also I'm always interested in what other gear people are using to get great images (I know, I know it's the photographer that makes the image) but the technical nitty gritty like shutter speed, focal length and the quality of glass used etc are great pieces of info for a learner like me.

I spent most of the on the exit of Club. I did use the F3000 to take a walk, and had a look at Luffield, but I decided that Luffield was far too crowded to get a good crack at a decent picture.

Camera settings... 200-400 iso, due to the overcast/wet light conditions, shutter speed 400-500 for head on and 3/4. 100-250 for panning.
