Jon,

Did you get any good shots of the LMA Euro Saloons race ?, in particular the Derek Hale Honda, racing at the front with the other Honda and the Noble.

BTCC watch out, this race proves that you can race quickly and closely without contact.

It was a great race to watch from our perspective, be interested what other people thought.

Im not usually a fan of races where the front row are 9 seconds quicker than the back row, especially on the Brands indy..... and the leaders lap the rest of the field 2-3 times..

But from watchin the downloads it looked a good race. It seems the supertourers have found a decent home! Is that the ex Rouse Britcar Mercedes 190evo running further down the field???

Some of mine went to Autosport an MN-have some lovely shots. Give me a few days and I'll have them on my website-bit busy at the moment! PS: The best LMA race ever that I'd seen anyway!

hi rich,

its 2.5 litre N/A built by AMG

same spec when rouse had it, set up for long disatnce races, brit car ect,

running 2hr endurence slicks and limiting the revs to only 8.5k, but it was dynoed to 10k

rouse i am told with this spec was doing 50 sec round brands indi

so its all me and not the car!

when my co driver drove at snetterton a couple of months back he was in the mid 1.13 sec laps

so in the right hands its a superb machine,

hoping to have another go at olton park,

need to get some tips from my mate lol

Yeah I wouldn't mind some tips from him actually. I know what you mean about getting used to the car. I first bought the Nissan ST last July and was doing brands Indy in 54's. Haven't raced there until last weekend and now doing 50's. Reckon I could get it down to early 49's, with new tyres and less fuel. Reckon Reid could do a 47 second lap, he did a 44 pre 99 changes.

Sounds like the Merc will soon be well on the pace with the tourers.

An original Labatts Sierra in A1 condtiion........fantastic. 90's touring cars were the ****** in my opinion, British, French, German just the best. Don't like these current tourers, the cars are dull.
