question from novice

Hi there
Im new here
nice to meet you!

What do you think about NASCAR basic step as driver?
Last year JPM did several test, ARCA race and cup race.
cause he is world class driver so he grew up quickly in Stockcar race as you know.
there's several way to get into the Nextel cup NASCAR race.
which way is the best?
ARCA serise is good for nascar novice?
Is there private driver in Craftman serise?
I raced on track several years but never tried stockcar yet
i think nowadays Stockcar race is mainstream.
so I hope try stockcar race near future

I wanna get your opinion Thank you

Hello Rickybobby!

As with any form of motorsport, it depends how much money you have. ARCA Remax is great but i fear its days could be seriously numbered with the onset of the Car of Tomorrow and the restructuring of the Busch series. from a finacial point of veiw ASA late model looks like the safest step on the ladder at the moment, however i dont believe there are many top Nascar drivers that cut their teeth in late models.

so what im basically saying is....

i dont know mate!

anyone else.....?

Busch North series or ARCA.

Most of the guys came up though the dirt track and late modle stock cars on local tracks.

Build or buy your own car and race it.

Good Luck

Have you thought about sports car racing? NASA or SCCA

Here is NASA North East http://www.nasanortheast.org/

There is an old saying, "the quickest way to make a SMALL fortune in autoracing, is to start with a Large fortune."
