Rachel should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
In a pre-race interview, Juan admitted that he didn't feel all the history that surrounded the IMS and the Indy 500. Yet when he got to victory circle, he was overjoyed...much more than I've ever seen him after winning a race. Was he just finally realizing that he had won the biggest race of his career, one of the most famed races in auto-racing history? Or has the mortality of the Toyota engine made him appreciate victory, and all the small things that went into it, that much more?

I heard him say he thought it would take a couple of days to really sink in. As a driver with more F1 than Indy car heritage (and 24-years-old to boot), it's probably not surprising that his reaction wouldn't be as euphoric as an American pilote.

I think he's one of those guys like Gilles who just loves to win! Perhaps he would look just as delighted winning a go-kart race after he'd driven his heart out and led the field home without a single mistake.

Not sure what to make of Juans emotions

I don't think he really know what Indy's tradition is - hw won a race - hios first for the year in fact - that's got to be exciting - will he be back - I hope so - don't really care if he is off to F1 land or not - bottom line he is a racer and a good on at that - he is in CART he smoked IRL drivers and the facts are evident
