Good luck to.....

Ok, so everyone has their favourite team/driver, but as a matter of interest, who else out there would you like to see do well this year and why?

For mine, I'm a Ford and Lowndes fan, but if I could see one team go better this year, it would have to be Will Davison and DJR. This is only because they have had it fairly tough and Will seemed to get involved in other peoples dramas last year.

These are my thoughts, I'm interested in yours......

TKR , they deserve a good season - would make no difference to me if they were still in Holdens .

TSR has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
For me I am a FPR fan but would like both Lowdnes & Courtney to do well and with Will Davo to impress, on the dark side I would like Toddler to do good to.

Henry you have been reading my mail DJR are the go and Steve Johnson is the most deserving driver out there especially when you consider the weight handicap he carries .
Steve is the reincarnation of previous big guy and i speak in hushed terms when I remember The late Great Pete Geohegan Steve is almost a nbody double for Pete and both have that same affable attitude

I think the Brock protege " Mr Smiles" will carry his race WINNING form into season 07,

(Rick did you read 'race winning' ?: Try it this year, maybe you'll gain some peer respect?)

I'd like to see Todd Kelly win. His luck last year was just terrible. To have the speed in the driver and the car but not being able to use it must really suck. He took it all in his stride though and deserves the championship he is capable of.

Todd seems to be a much too decent bloke to be driving for the red side and McConville is another.

Im sorry I cant agree with this. Steve is the most undeserving driver in the field. I know first hand just how damn hard most of these guys work on their fitness off the track. There are some very fit and elite guys in the V8 paddock and Steve is not one of them. yeh hes a big guy but if he got off his A**e and stopped partying then maybe I would respect him a bit more. You get out of this game what you put in. Your effort off the track reflects your results on it.

My opinion anyway!

For me I hope Jamie Whincup has a great one.

Whilst I don't agree with SJ being the most undeserving driver, I must admit he's not too far off it...

I think to cut a long story short (and to save any argument), SJ should stop threatening every 2nd year (contract renewal time ) to go to another team, & just do it. Then we'll see the depth of his talent & commitment...

Unfortunately for Rick, with Tander’s raw speed and much matured approach, I think it’ll be Tander sticking it to Rick. Unless he runs into engine trouble when Lowndes is behind him again.

I hope to see DJR and the Perkins team at the pointy end.

I guess there are a lot of people who would like to see Rick ACTUALLY win something ...

I'm up for a bet on our boy Lowndes vs. your dud Rick ... You in?

If a Holden has to win, I'm for the Murfster too however.

Id like to see WPS go well.

i reckon gorey has done more australian motorsport on an international scale in recent history than just about anyone else and i hope it transfers through to the v8 series.

since 2002 a driver who finished on the podium in race three of the final event has gone on to win the series the next year. twice it has been the winner and twice it has been the 3rd place . lets hope this year its the guy who won the last race. go frosty

I'm not a Junior knocker (I reckon he's an OK steerer) but mentioned in the same breath as Big Pete - I DON'T THINK SO !

Sweet Corn - get a hold of the DVD's of the circa 1970s Touring Car races at Warwick Farm and you will change your tune quick smart.

If that is'nt sufficent, you might want to compare the racing record of Pete with, well, almost anybody really ... and you could come to the conclusion (that we have) that there may be a driver or 2 the equal of him but NONE BETTER.

Amen.
